COE CSW participated in exercise DANEX/NOCO 2011 in the Western Baltic.

COE CSW participated in exercise NOCO 2010 in the Finnish archipelago. COE focused on three major issues.

FINAL REPORT HIGH SPEED BOAT OPERATIONS

During exercise NORTHERN COASTS 2009 in October 2009, the Centre Of Excellence for Operations in Confined and Shallow Waters (COE CSW) conducted a High Speed Boat Operations (HSBO) trial in Eckernförde Bight, Germany. The reason for the trial was to test HSBOs in live environment in order to provide guidance to CTG/CTF-level (Commander Task Group/Commander Task Force) on the employment of HSBs.

Harbour Protection Trials 2008 (HPT 08) were prepared and conducted in Eckernförde from 25 August to 05 September 2008 on the basis of NATO MCG3 guidelines. To avoid additional organisational efforts, reduce costs and achieve synergetic effects, HPT 08 were carried out in combination with activities under NATO-Defence Against Terrorism ITEMS 2, 7 and 10 within the scope of TECH DEMO 2008.
