REP(MUS) 2021

Kiel, Germany | Portgual, North Atlanitic

REP(MUS) stands for Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping Augmented by Maritime Unmanned Systems. It is an experimentation exercise on an annual basis for conducting large-scale experimentation in order to develop and test operational concepts and requirements, interoperability, technological advances, tactics, and procedures regarding Maritime Unmanned Systems (MUS) in all three dimensions (Sea, Land, Air).
REP(MUS) 2021 is an opportunity for Academia, Industry and the Armed Forces to test and further develop maritime unmanned systems. This year 17 Navies, 15 Research and Development companies, 1 University and 8 NATO entities related to maritime operations and/or maritime unmanned systems are participating.

MUS will play a key role and will be an integral part of todays and tomorrows Armed forces. The REP(MUS) series is a powerful testbed to initiate (international) projects in order to enhance capability and efficiency regarding new unmanned systems within NATO.

The exercise is organised by the Portuguese Navy and will take place in the North Atlantic Portuguese Exercise Areas, from September 13th to 24th, 2021. The COE CSW is supporting REP(MUS) 21 with two Experts.
