On Thursday, August 4, 2022, the Japanese Consul General Ms Kikuko Kato accompanied by Mr Vice Consul Ryosei Terai visited the COE CSW in Kiel. After a welcome by Rear Admiral Faltin, Director of COE CSW and Commander DEU Einsatzflottille 1, the COE CSW as well as some selected fields of work were presented to the visitors. An intensive exchange on the situation in the Indo-Pacific region and the current application of international maritime law concluded this very informative visit.
